Become a Serious Diver with an experienced Instructor
The Advanced Open Water Diver course is all about improving your skills and fine-tuning your Buoyancy, Trim & Propulsion to become a serious diver. You’ll practice Navigation, Deep diving down to 30m and 3 other topics of your choice. We highly recommend the DRIFT DIVE to get experience with the current and to enjoy the beautiful BUNUTAN DRIFT with thousands of barrel sponges, barracudas, jacks and sometimes dog-tooth tunas & sharks. Drift dives are all situated in south Amed (no drift dives in Tulamben), just in front of our dive shop. The fees for the local Jukung boat are included.
We also recommend the Night dive and the Peak Performance Buoyancy dive and of course we have the perfect conditions with the USAT Liberty Wreck to offer the Wreck Dive.
At WSD, we usually conduct the AOW course in small groups of 2 students (max ratio 3:1). This course is available in 5 languages : French, German, English, Spanish & Indonesian.
Last year (2025), we have conducted over 140 Advanced Open Water courses. Only train with Pros !
